Der Bio-Modular Schulterschaft und die Absolute Bipolarköpfe Typ Worland haben sich als erfolgreiches Duo zur Behandlung der Rotatorenmanschetteninsuffizienz bewährt. Neben den Standard-Versorgungsmethoden ist das Bipolarsystem der Firma Biomet insbesondere bei speziellen Indikationen in der Schulterendoprothetik sehr gut erprobt.

Die Absolute Bipolarköpfe Typ Worland sind speziell für das ganze Spektrum der Hemiarthoplastik entwickelt worden. Sie sind besonders indiziert bei der Versorgung diffiziler Rotatorenmanschettendefekt-Situationen oder nach Revisionen anderer bekannter Methoden.

• Konzentrischer Kontakt mit der subakromialen Struktur und der Schultergelenkpfanne.
• Zusätzliches Rotationszentrum und maximaler Kontakt
• Vermindertes Verschleißrisiko im Glenoidal-/Akromialbereich durch die zweiseitige Beweglichkeit von Kopf zur Pfanne und Innenkopf zum Inlay.
• Verbesserte Tension des Deltoidarms in den Schultern bei einer defekten Rotatorenmanschette.
