Das von J. Pooley entwickelte System der knochenerhaltenden Instrumentation (Instrumented Bone Preserving, iBP) gestattet ein exaktes Implantieren der Prothesenteile in der erforderlichen Ausrichtung. Dank der kondylären Form und des umfangreichen Spektrums an verfügbaren Größen ist nur eine minimale Entfernung des vorhandenen Knochenmaterials notwendig.
